Swedish MP Rickard Nordin has proposed tax exemption on Bitcoin transactions to encourage everyday use and suggested adding Bitcoin to Sweden’s foreign exchange reserves. He believes Bitcoin can act as a hedge against inflation and wants the government to invest seized cryptocurrency into reserves. Nordin has also proposed establishing a national Bitcoin reserve in Sweden.
