Alejandro Garnacho joins Chelsea: Man Utd winger leaves club in £40m transfer as Blues spending nears £300m | Football News

Chelsea signed Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United in a £40m transfer, bringing their summer spending to almost £300m. Garnacho is Chelsea’s ninth arrival and has signed a long-term deal with the club. The deal represents United’s largest fee for an academy graduate and includes a 10% sell-on clause. Chelsea also pulled out of Nicolas Jackson’s loan deal to Bayern Munich due to an injury to Liam Delap. Chelsea have made a bid for Barcelona’s Fermin Lopez and Sky Sports will show at least 215 live Premier League games this season.
