Arizona passed legislation creating a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, becoming the first state to do so. Sponsored by Senator Wendy Rogers, the bill authorizes the state treasury to invest public funds in Bitcoin. Governor Katie Hobbs will decide whether to sign or veto the measure, amid debate over the risks and benefits of investing in cryptocurrency.
