Bybit swiftly repays 40,000 Ethereum loan as hacker launders $250 million

: Bybit has returned a $99.98 million Ethereum loan to Bitget following a security incident. The repayment was confirmed by Bitget CEO Gracy Chen, who stated that the loan was provided as a gesture of support with no interest or collateral requirements. Bybit also transferred additional funds to settle loans from other institutions. Despite these actions, the Bybit attacker has laundered around $250 million worth of ETH. Bybit CEO Ben Zhou announced plans to prevent hacks and recover lost funds.
