A group of US senators, led by Cynthia Lummis, has written a letter to the SEC urging clarification on protocol staking in digital asset ETPs. They argue that excluding staking from ETP filings hinders competitiveness and access to core blockchain functions. The SEC has set a deadline of April 1 to respond.
