Under a new US Securities and Exchange Commission administration, changes to crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs) like in-kind redemptions and staking for Ethereum products may happen soon. SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce, known as “Crypto Mom,” is open to reconsidering these changes to make crypto products more useful for investors. Bloomberg analysts predict a wave of crypto ETF approvals next year, with recent approvals for Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. Approval for Litecoin and Hedera ETFs is expected to follow, while Solana and XRP funds may need to wait for regulatory clarity.
