Ripple Lab’s new stablecoin, Ripple USD (RLUSD), is set to be approved by the NYDFS and launched by December 4. This launch comes amidst Ripple’s legal battle with the SEC over XRP. RLUSD aims to provide a stable alternative to XRP and will be backed by reserves with regular audits.
