Hoskinson outlined key qualifications for a “Crypto-Czar,” emphasizing neutrality and collaboration across protocols. He criticized the current administration’s regulatory missteps and highlighted Armstrong’s leadership at Coinbase. Hoskinson also detailed plans to support legislative efforts for the crypto industry, aiming to work closely with Congress to establish regulations that attract traditional industries to blockchain. He plans to launch “Operation Baseline” in January to survey the US crypto landscape and propose actionable policies. Collaboration within the industry is crucial to making the US a leading hub for crypto and blockchain innovation.
