The DeFi project Sky has decided to maintain its new brand identity instead of reverting to MakerDAO after a community vote. The decision to keep the Sky brand as the core protocol name was supported by 79.3% of voters. Concerns over centralized voting power among a few large entities were raised, highlighting potential centralization issues within DAOs. Sky co-founder Rune Christensen expressed excitement about the future of the ecosystem, including plans to expand USDS adoption and launch new projects under the Sky brand.
