SoftBank is in talks to acquire a majority stake in humanoid robot maker 1X Technologies for about $6 billion. OpenAI previously invested in 1X and had discussions about acquiring the company. SoftBank’s interest in 1X comes after a $5.4 billion agreement to acquire ABB’s robotics business.
