MTS, Rostelecom, and MegaFon in Russia are getting ready to accept digital ruble payments starting from September 1 as part of the nationwide central bank digital currency rollout. Large merchants and major banks are required to support digital ruble transactions, with Wildberries and Ozon also preparing to accept digital rubles.
