Harvard Management Company maintained its position in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust unchanged during the second quarter, with 3,044,612 shares worth $101.4 million. This comes after two consecutive quarters of reductions in Bitcoin exposure. Other institutional investors, such as Mubadala and Abu Dhabi Investment Council, also retained their positions in IBIT during the second quarter. JPMorgan increased its reported IBIT holdings, while Morgan Stanley reduced its share count. Harvard’s gold ETF holdings exceeded its Bitcoin ETF position substantially. Dartmouth College also kept its crypto ETF share counts unchanged during Q2. Abu Dhabi investment entities maintained their IBIT share counts as well. JPMorgan added IBIT shares, while Morgan Stanley reduced its position. Tudor Investment Corporation reported an increase in IBIT shares. The filings provide a snapshot as of June 30 and do not reveal transactions made during the third quarter.
