Unauthorized access to systems operated by ShipMonk exposed personal information of 13,689 Trezor customers, including names, emails, phone numbers, and shipping addresses. Trezor’s systems and hardware wallets were not compromised. Affected customers were warned about potential phishing attempts and plans for enhanced security measures are in place. The ShipMonk incident did not require user action. Trezor plans to offer an anonymous delivery option to reduce personal information connected to hardware wallet purchases. Customers can use alternative email addresses, cryptocurrency payments, and P.O. Boxes. Anonymous Delivery will include dedicated checkout, locker collection, neutral packaging, and automatic deletion of shipping identifiers. Available in EU by September 2026 and US by end of 2026.
