Tyler Williams, a senior digital asset adviser to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, left the U.S. Treasury Department on July 31 amid struggles to advance the CLARITY Act before the August recess. Bessent praised Williams for his role in making the U.S. a crypto capital. The Act remains unscheduled in the Senate.
