A security flaw in Coldcard’s hardware wallets has led to the theft of almost $90 million in Bitcoin from thousands of wallets. Kraken’s chief security officer is calling for independent testing of hardware wallet firmware to prevent such attacks in the future. Affected users must create new seed phrases to protect their funds.
