AFX will announce a goodwill plan for users affected by a $24.15 million bridge exploit on Aug. 3. The attack began with social engineering and targeted AFX’s custody bridge. Internal infrastructure was compromised, with recovery efforts ongoing. The incident was not related to Arbitrum’s native bridge. The investigation found evidence of a supply chain compromise.
