Emirates launched Crypto.com Pay for eligible UAE residents to pay for flight bookings online in dirhams. Customers can use the payment option on both mobile and desktop devices. The partnership between Emirates and Crypto.com was completed after signing a memorandum of understanding in July 2025. The payment option is only available for bookings priced and settled in UAE dirhams, with no announcement for travelers outside the UAE or bookings in other currencies. The integration is supported by Crypto.com’s Dubai entity operating under a Central Bank Stored Value Facilities license. The launch reflects the Dubai Cashless Strategy and the goal of increasing cashless transactions. The payment method offers a new way for customers to pay for flights, with details on supported assets, fees, and exchange rates yet to be announced. The rollout is a milestone for Crypto.com Pay, with potential updates in the future for expanded availability and payment details.
