Gate US has joined BitGo’s Go Network Off-Exchange Settlement service, allowing institutional clients to trade while their assets remain in custody at BitGo Bank & Trust. This partnership extends a broader collaboration between the two companies to provide institutional custody, wallet management, and risk-control technology. The integration allows clients to trade without pre-funding the exchange, with completed trades settling through the Go Network off-chain. The model separates custody and settlement from trade execution, reducing but not eliminating risks associated with traditional exchanges. Gate US is now part of a network that includes ten venues, offering clients access to a global liquidity layer. The companies have not disclosed specific financial terms, trading volume expectations, or a timeline for the OES connection.
