WEMIX confirmed a breach where an attacker minted 5.23 million WEMIX$ without permission on July 26. The attacker converted the tokens to other assets and moved them through various blockchain networks. WEMIX suspended services and froze funds affected by the breach. This incident comes after a previous hack in 2025 and during a transition to USDC.e services.
