Galaxy Digital has secured naming rights to Texas Tech’s football stadium for 15 years, renaming it Galaxy Stadium starting in 2026. The agreement also makes Galaxy the official digital assets and data center partner of Texas Tech Athletics. The deal will involve AI projects and workforce training programs, along with support for student-athletes. Additionally, Galaxy’s existing Helios data center campus in Dickens County positions the company to expand its infrastructure business in West Texas. The agreement with Texas Tech follows other crypto-related investments and developments in the state, including increased political spending and policies related to Bitcoin. The partnership between Galaxy and Texas Tech adds a significant college sports component to the state’s growing crypto and digital infrastructure industry. Financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed.
