SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce, known as “Crypto Mom,” will leave the agency in November to become an associate professor at Regent University School of Law. Her exit comes as the SEC considers crypto rules and tokenization. Peirce has led the SEC’s Crypto Task Force and her departure leaves the commission with two active members.
