Aztec Connect, a deprecated DeFi bridge linked to the Aztec ecosystem, was exploited, losing $2.1 million from an old Ethereum smart contract. The attack used a verification mismatch to drain funds. Aztec Labs is investigating, stating that the current Aztec Network was not affected. This incident adds to a series of DeFi hacks in June.
