Crypto scammers have set up fake World Cup ticketing sites and a fixed-match betting scheme linked to four cryptocurrency addresses ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. U.S. authorities and FIFA have warned fans against purchasing tickets through unofficial websites as phishing and fraud campaigns increase. TRM Labs identified the scams targeting football fans.
