SpaceX IPO could reveal a $1.4B Bitcoin bet hiding in plain sight: Grayscale

SpaceX may become the largest public company holding Bitcoin if its planned June listing goes through. Grayscale Research reported that SpaceX currently holds 18,712 BTC worth $1.4 billion, making it the eighth-largest corporate Bitcoin holder globally. Despite this, Bitcoin would only represent 0.1% of SpaceX’s expected $1.75 trillion valuation. Retail interest in SpaceX’s listing is high, with investors eagerly awaiting the company’s public market debut. Elon Musk has been actively promoting the IPO campaign, while major banks are preparing to handle the deal.
