A fake Ledger Live hardware wallet app on Apple’s App Store scammed $9.5 million from 50 victims in April. Victims entered their seed phrases, giving attackers control. Apple removed the app but did not explain how it passed review. Recovery is unlikely. Experts advise downloading wallet software only from the official website.
