The Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division privacy officer has resigned as the DOJ plans to share sensitive voter data, including partial Social Security numbers and driver’s license numbers, with DHS without issuing required privacy notices. Legal experts believe this violates the Privacy Act. The DOJ has collected voter rolls from 17 states.
