Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher believes Unai Emery would be the ideal coach to revive Manchester United. Emery, currently managing Aston Villa, is seen as a frontrunner to take over United this summer. Despite his success, it seems Michael Carrick, the current interim coach, is preferred. Emery’s coaching skills and success are highly regarded, but concerns about full managerial control may be a factor in United’s decision-making. Although Emery has had mixed results at clubs like Arsenal and PSG, Carragher believes he would be an attractive option for United if they showed genuine interest. Ultimately, Carragher suggests that Emery’s coaching abilities should be the primary consideration in selecting a new manager.
