Missouri lawmakers are considering a bill that would create a Bitcoin Strategic Reserve Fund funded by donations of bitcoin. The fund would be in cold storage for at least five years before potentially being transferred, sold, or converted. The bill is pending a committee hearing in the House Commerce Committee before moving to the full House chamber for debate and approval. If passed, Missouri would join other states in establishing state-level Bitcoin reserve frameworks.
