OpenClaw creator Peter Steinberger has enforced a ban on all mentions of cryptocurrencies on the project’s Discord server following a scam involving a Solana-based token called $CLAWD. A user was blocked for referencing Bitcoin block height in a technical context, prompting Steinberger to defend the no-crypto policy. The ban applies to all cryptocurrency references, not just promotional content.
