Mexican resident Magdaleno Mendoza has been sentenced to 71 months in federal prison for his role as a senior promoter in the IcomTech cryptocurrency Ponzi scheme. He was ordered to pay over $789,000 in restitution and forfeit $1.5 million, with additional penalties for illegal residence and promoting other Ponzi schemes.
