Bhutan launches TER, a gold-backed token on Solana, part of a wider digital strategy including CBDC pilots and Ethereum-based digital ID. TER is fully collateralized by physical gold, distributed by DK Bank, and provides on-chain proof of reserves. Bhutan also plans to migrate its national ID to Ethereum by 2026.
