Thodex founder Faruk Fatih Ozer found dead in Turkish prison cell, suspected suicide. Ozer was serving an 11,196-year sentence for fraud and criminal activity. Thodex, a cryptocurrency exchange, collapsed in 2021 after a promotional campaign offering free Dogecoin. Ozer was captured after fleeing to Albania and extradited to Turkey in 2023.
