Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire highlighted the opportunity for USDC in payments between artificial intelligence agents during an earnings webcast. Circle reported that 99.3% of x402 agent-payment volume settled in USDC in the second quarter. The company also mentioned the launch of Arc’s public mainnet on September 16, which will include programmable agent-finance tools.
